At the heart of Belterra is the Rec Center, a recreational complex that is a destination all on its own. From here, Belterra's Lifestyle Director coordinates year-round programs and activities around gathering spaces and event venues. Collectively, Belterra's amenities, trail system, parks, and preserved open space set a new standard for what thoughtful placemaking can contribute to community, vitality, healthy living, and memory-making at home.

Centrally located in the heart of the community is Belterra’s modern recreation center. The Rec Center holds a state-of-the-art gym facility designed as a gathering place for community events and club meetings. A playscape is nestled under nearby trees, and the adjacent basketball court serves as the perfect venue for a weekend pickup game.

 

The Retreat at San Saba is an 8.71-acre HOA common area park for members. Features include a pavilion, splash pad, and fitness loops. Parking for food vendors and an event lawn is provided for lifestyle programming.

 

Belterra’s swim complex features a resort-style swimming pool, kiddie pool, and a separate lap pool. It provides a perfect backdrop for family playtime and a welcome respite from the central Texas heat. Adults and children alike will enjoy the pool layout with its beach-style entry and water features that delight even the youngest children.

Meticulously maintained paths by the WCID Districts 1 and 2 surround and crisscross the entire Belterra community. The trails have been designed to connect the neighborhoods and highlight the natural beauty of the Hill Country: serene meadows, meandering streams, and seemingly endless stands of old oak trees.
